Hello everyone and welcome to The Baby Boomer Zone. I'm your host Diamond Dave. The BBZ is going to be a lighthearted look at the world we live in through the eyes of a Baby Boomer (me) with an emphasis on sports. I must confess, I'm not an ESPN junkie but I do try to keep up with my favorite sporting events and teams. The Dolphins, Lakers, and Reds are my loves. I have favorite players/drivers in tennis, golf, and nascar. In the college world I follow the b-ball champion Carolina Tar Heels. Along with sports I will also have a take on any and everything which occurs in this thing we call life. Pop culture, films, music, medicine, relationships, parenting, hell I'm not gonna make a list for you...just consider nothing off limits. The kicker is I'm not gonna sugar coat a damn thing! It's my world, warts and all and you're invited to share the journey with me. We'll laugh, cry, get pissed, shake our heads in amazement and perhaps learn something along the way.
